I watched the whole thing. Thirty minutes at a price tag of $6 million. Paid for, no doubt, by Barack Obamas' Masters, Moveondotorg and the hollywood crowd.

Why/How would McCain bring another 4 years of the same? Don't the Democrats control the Senate and House of Reps? Haven't they had control for 2 years now and are looking to gain even more seats this year?

If that happens, and McCain is elected, how would we have 4 more years of the same with the Democrats in control of Congress?

I have actually made some money for the past 7 and a half years.
I was living just great for the past 7 and a half years.
I had no problems... till now "election time" which is common.

I have had health insurance, a home, cars and trucks, put myself through school, have wife and kids. I have had no issues.

I wasn't one of the stupid ones to get mixed up with the subprime loans.

Why would ANY American vote for ANY candidate that wont say the Pledge of Allegience, show respect for the American flag by crossing his heart, and in fact, TURNS HIS BACK on the flag? I could care less what religion a guy is, and can respect a political opinion that differs from mine, but this blatant show of disrespect to the very nation he wants to lead is ridiculous.
I am not a big Mccain fan at all, but COME ON! Is there really even a choice?

That picture was sent around alot of the addresses here in NM. The picture was taken before anyone said a single word of the pledge , this was an arguement I engaged in with the same anger to find out that the picture was taken before anyone started to say the pledge.....and then was sent out with all kinds of story lines to it...

What are your feelings on this subject.
I dont want to hear about politics, I just want one liberal to honestly tell me how they feel about this issue.
Hell, there are a ton of things I dont like about McCain. He wouldnt be my choice...but I just cant wrap my head around this 'disrespecting the flag' thing. Why wont ANY liberal admit that there are serious flaws with this guy? I'm not trying to change anyone mind here, just trying to understand the mindset.

By the way, about the 'Come visit america' line... I'm just concerned that we might all be saying goodbye to her...

Hey ICHABOD I wasn't replying to you to begin with. But the only typical stereotype is YOU. Where did you find your information about Obama's views on the flag and pledge of allegience? Do you know that to be fact?

I don't know how a middle class citizen that has an open mind and ability to comprehend could come away from watching Obama's infomercial and say too many things negative about what he is trying to accomplish. I guess if you have already convinced yourself and are brainwashed then you can find something negative in everything he said.

"He's trying to spread your wealth around." Who the hell is McCain really talking to? Because I don't know too many wealthy middle class people now a days.

I will be the first one to admit that Obama is not the perfect candidate. He is just a better candidate than McCain, period. I disagree with most of Obama's views on gun control but there are too many other views that I do agree with.

Just remember their slogan "Drill Baby Drill." It will go down as one of the most pathetic moron slogans ever.

You know what guys I am going to be man enough to appologize. I should never have gotten on a political forum for this reason. Just brings out too much negative reactions. This is supposed to be a hunting website. Really no place to talk politics. I need to keep my opinions and beliefs to myself.

Too many of us think our beliefs are the right ones and anyone who disagrees is an idiot or moron. That is bad thinking and i'm guilty as hell. We are all different and that is what made this country great.

Go out and vote for the candidate you think will make a difference for the country you live in (McCain or Obama) and put some of self-interest aside. Maybe then we can get this country back up and going and be the great country it once was.

Do you remember the elderly black couple? He owned his home and was retired from the railroad after 30 years of service. My dad retired from the railroad after 35 years. As part of the railroad pension (railroad workers aren't eligable for social security. They don't pay into it or receive it). His pension equals to about 80% of his regular pay, and railroad wives get 50% of his retirement pay when they reach 65. Plus they have good medical coverage for life.

What did Mr. Obama specifically say he was going to do for these folks? I missed that part.

Do you remember the family of educators who couldn't decide if they should buy a whole gallon of milk or just a half gallon? Did you see the artificial fingernails on that gal? It didn't say how many cell phones they owned, or say how many televisions they own, and on and on......give me a break, I'll send her the $2 so she can buy a whole gallon of milk, if she will just hush!

What did Mr. Obama specifically say he was going to do for these folks? I missed that part.

Cut their taxes? If he wants to cut their taxes, why is he letting the Bush tax cuts expire? I'm middle class, and I sure enjoyed my Bush tax cut.

I don't trust the guy. I'll be voting for Sarah Palin and whoever her running mate is.

Edit: Sarah Palin has more experience than Barack Obama.

All I can say is God Bless America. If Obama wins and I fear he will, the constitution and freedom will be in grave danger. I believe this country is in greater danger of losing liberty than it has ever faced. Greater danger even than when we faced the Imperial Japanese and Nazi Germany.

Why? Because the enemy of freedom and the constitution is now within our own government. Not only is the 2nd ammendment in danger, but the first also. The fairness doctrine will silence any media opposed to the liberal and socialistic movement. This legislation is waiting in the wings along with more vile gun restrictions than we have ever seen. It isn't just Obama to fear, but also those who think he's the Messiah or chosen one.

I cannot fathom how any patriotic, freedom loving, american with a desire for self-betterment and a willingness to make self-sacrifices so that they can achieve the american dream, could possibly vote for Obama.

Nevertheless, I can see why many urban dwelling, generational welfare recipients, who are completely content with government being the answer for everything, are mesmerized by the idea of more bread being tossed to the peasants. "LET THEM EAT CAKE" said the King.
