OHV for unit 500 and 501

I was wondering if OHV are permitted on unit 500 or 501. My dad is approaching 80 and loves getting around in the razor over the truck.

How about places to stay in any of these units. The 80 year old hunter wants to by comfortable as well.

Depends on what you are looking for accommodations wise. There are some cabin rentals you can do in Lake George right off HWY 24. Theres also a lot of camping area around Tarryall if you wanted to drop a camper. I think theres a resort kind of place with cabins in Tarryall as well, right off Tarryall Rd. Theres not a lot of OHV area in those units and no street legal side by sides for CO just yet. But you can always look at the CO TREX app and see where those can be taken. Its free and easy to navigate.

How are the roads in unit 500 for 4x4 vehicles. We will be down there in the middle of October and I dont want to buy chains for my truck unless it is necessary.
