OIT Loss

I really cant believe OIT loss in the National tounament tonight. No doubt they picked a bad night to go ice cold in shooting. I do want to congradulate Danny Miles for his 900th win this season. What a coach, but more importantly what a man.
A man that graduates over 99% of his athletes. No doubt his team is over matched in talent every night, but he finds a way to win most of the time. With two national titles this decade he has done an AWESOME job. Thanks to Danny Miles the men he coached will excell in life due to the things he tought them at OIT. Thanks Coach Miles. Your the best!!!

Coach Miles is a great coach. I regret not playing for him when I had the chance after high school. I chose junior college then ended up playing against OIT in the same league, and yes they kicked our a$$es every year. I think my sophomore year they won the national title with Baker and Mathews.

Baker is my favorit player ever. Feigi is my second favorite. Mathews my #3 favorite player is the big Auzi. #4 is Mathews.

Great program and they definitely achieved a lot this year. A little less talent but a great team.

I'll take for my 5 starters:

1. Hesia
2. Fiegi
3. Baker
4. Hodges
5. Nunes or Wetzler

Lots of talent over the years and fun to watch.

i went to OIT and he is a great coach. he's a great quarterback too. that guy can put a football exactly where he wants every pass.

It is amazing to me to see how Miles can pull ALL the potential out of a young man. Imagine his recruiting talk...

'...well you'll be stuck in a freezing nasty winter for 6 months, summers are hotter than the Sahara, we have two (not very good) restaurants, the social life is none existant, we have more Rednecks per capita than any other city in Oregon, campus is small and pretty boring, there are 5 guys for every fat girl...but I can coach you to your FULL POTENTIAL...what do ya think, son?'

It is really amazing to me.

Guess this means you don't like KF. Cool

1. The weather is nothing like you describe.

2. The campus is small but some like that. Everyone doesn't need the U of O size.

3. OIT has the best job placement of any school on the west coast.

4. There are fat girls in Portland too!

5. The restaurants are fine. I have traveled around the world and it ain't that great in big cities. Usually less food and higher prices.

6. There are enough girls for someone that isn't a complete idiot. Always has been too.

7. Rednecks - maybe there some. So what. This country is being ruined by liberal socialists and what we need is more rednecks.

8. There is a "high" percentage of athletes that come from within 150 miles of KF. Think about the players just this year from KF, Medford, Sutherlin, etc.

While you may think KF is all of the "bad" you mentioned here many of us don't. We just wished that Portland and Eugene weren't part of Oregon.

You boys sure are sensative. Ease up a bit, take a deep breath and learn to take a joke. My gawd. Ya wanna fight now? Grow up. I was raised in Klamath and had family there for 25 years. I still have many friends down there. Christ you guys really need to calm the F down and smile about it. And for the record KBKILLJOY, I am not an idiot, I just have a sense of humor about Klamath.

Wow, they are sensitive. I, too, went to school there in the early 90's. While I don't think your list is completely accurate....I do know where you're coming from!! You did leave off the "stinky green summertime water", LOL.

Mr. Miles is fantastic. My wife played softball there, and Miles was assisting at the time. He seems to know exactly what is necessary for each person, whether it is sweet talking or yelling, to get the best out of them!!
