I thought the Omega wasn't legal in Idaho due to the cap not being exposed to the elements? Saved some deer and elk regardless.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-18-03 AT 07:36PM (MST)[p]This was during a general season, she could have used a rifle or handgun too. We actually jumped it off a fresh elk kill (that morning), the cat hadn't ate 10 pounds of meat when the dogs struck the trail.

So the omega is legal during a general season but not during a regular muzzleloader season, correct?

That is how it was explained to me by the CO.
