Oregon Spring Bear / Snake River

Drew a snake river tag this year. Was in there last year during the season with a friend that drew. Had 3 nice bears within 200yrds, but my friend was on the other side of the canyon, and I didn't have a tag!

Anyone else going there, or someplace near there???

We hunted the snake river in 05 and 06. In 05 we saw 1 bear and my buddy shot him, we went up and over freeze out on the bench trail. in 06 we sawfour bears but we never got close enough to them to get any shots. This year a few of us drawed wenaha tags so we will see what happens. Last we I saw a sow witha yearling cub and an other bear in the mt emily unit so they are out in force now. Good luck and Kill some bears we got way to many of them now days.
