Hey guys, just curious if anyone out there has had any success or action with the elk this year. Seems like it's been slow. Been hot and dry for sure. I've covered a ton of miles scouting and hunting and it's been pretty lackluster at best. Hopefully things turn on for me this week. Good luck to all trying to fill a tag
 
Hot dry, but tons of action. For the season, 5 elk have went down in our group. I shot a nice bull last week. Even though its been extremely hot, the bulls have been very vocal all day. Waiting them out is brutal though, days got so hot.
 
Dang, you guys are doin some work! Congrats on your elk. I just got back last night. Once I found my way away from the crowds of people I finally got a couple plays with some talking bulls but got bit by the swirling CO winds. Was new to that area but now I can spend the next 11 months grinding on ways to hunt it better.
