outfitter/guide tipping

Does it make sense to tip the outfitter of a small operation if they are the ones guiding hunters also? Guided hunts already cost a fortune. Anyone?

Even though you'll be able to find plenty if you search, let me say that YES, you tip the outfitter if he was your guide. In a small operation, it isn't at all unusual to have the outfitter guiding hunters. He deserves a tip just as much as any other guide, assuming he gives you good effort and handles the stuff within his control.
