Best of Season 1
This DVD is jam packed with hunts. Its excellently edited and the graphics they use are awesome. This DVD is based off the hunts they show on the TV show and they call this DVD "the best of season one".
If your passion is elk, whitetail or goose hunting, this DVD has a lot of hunts. It's 2 hours and 43 minutes long. The time fly's due to great editing and steady footage. As with the last DVD we reviewed, this one also has a lot of enthusiasm about being in the outdoors and just loving to hunt. The hunts unfold after you're given all the details about what has been going during the hunt, where they are, and what they have been seeing. If you like watching a hunt and not just the kill shot, this DVD's for you.
Another aspect of this DVD that I enjoyed was the "gear talk". They will take you through the gear they use and why. They also touch on new technology available and what's worth trying.
The good:
Edited very, very well.
Good camera work and sound
Hunt lead ups are excellent
Knowledgeable hunters with good advice
The Bad:
Lots of whitetail hunts (could be a good thing)
Although its well edited, it's still almost 3 hours long. Again, that could be a good thing since there isn't an issue with hitting pause.
