So my wife recently purchased a T3i for me for fathers day. I am very excited as this is my first DSLR camera. I love editing photos on other free and cheaper software but I would like to purchase a good program to edit and fix photos taken from my new camera. Any suggestions? my considerations indlude money, user friendly, and quality

"you can't fix stupid"

Gimp - freeware - http://www.gimp.org/ Full fledged like Photoshop CS5
Lightroom 4.1 - $149 - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom.html
Photoshop Elements 10 - $99 - http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html

I use GIMP and it's pretty close to the full fledged Photoshop.

YOu can also use the Digital Photo Professional from Canon to tweak all your images. Even does HDR's. Download the latest vs 3.11.31.0

I have a T3i and these things are insane fun.

Cheers,
Pete
