Pistol Grip Tri-Pod Heads

Any suggestions on a pistol grip tripod or head unit. Just ordered an adapter for my EL's and the pan head on my current tripod seems to be a bit of a pain.

I personally do not like the pistol grip heads. Tried the outdoorsman pisol grip and sold it after one time in the field. I know a lot of people that like them but I just wasn't comfortable using one. After several hours it began cramping my hand. I use the Bogen 3160 fluid head. They don't make them any more but you can find one on ebay for under $50.00. They're made out of polycarbonite and work excellent. Just my 2 cents worth!!

I have a Bogen 3265 pistol grip that i like alot.

I don't like the pistol grip set up either. It is tough to get precise movement, especially if you just need to tweek it a little one way or the other. I prefer the fluid head also. I can film off of it, and then switch to the spotting scope, or 15's. I know a lot of guys that love the pistol grip though, so it seems to be personal pref.
