Powder Charge Question

LAST EDITED ON Aug-28-02 AT 02:34PM (MST)[p]I hear lot of comments about people shooting 120 to 150 grs. of the newer powders. My gun seems to shoot best at about 100 grs.
My question is is that enough for shooting Elk?
I'll throw a few details out there, to help you decide.

My max range is 100 yds.
I am using a 348 gr. bullet.
The powder is 777 ffg.
