Preference points

As a non resident, I'm just curious how Wyoming?s preference point system works. If I buy a point this year for elk, does that mean when I apply next year, I'll go into the draw with one point? How many points can you earn per year? Thanks in advance.

you can buy one/year provided you didn't draw your 1st choice for a full price license

What's a unit you can draw with one or two points? I'm looking at units 100 and 94

Have you looked at the WGFD website ? All of what you're asking is on there plus much more that I'm sure you'll find helpful.

Yes I have, but it's all new to me, so I figured what would it hurt to ask on here for clarification. And maybe I was looking at the wrong list of draw odds, but I didn't quite understand it.
