Prices for Applying?

I was under the impression that you buy a 150.00 license and apply for sheep. If drawn you will need to buy the tag. Now I heard from a source you have to front all the money. D.A. needing clarification. Thanks Craig I am non res also.

That's correct, buy the license, pay the entire tag fee at application, refund if unsuccessful.

you dont get a refund on your lic. though, just the tag if you dont draw..

For the trophy critters (moose, sheep, mt. goats) you have to pay the tag fee up front. For deer, elk, and lopers, you just have to buy the license and pay the application fee. Once drawn, you can then buy your tags.
