Primos hunts private land or very limited draws (Gila units). The Colorado ranch where they have so much luck is in the San de Christos. They do say they hunt places anyone could hunt. That is true, but some of those places would cost a bit of money. That being said, all of their hunting is fair chase, ethical, and no fences. The amount of quality film they get each year is amazing. I live in Jackson, Mississippi, and Primos is from here. I have had the chance to meet and become aquaintences with some past or present team members. They are hunters' hunters and would be great guys to share a camp with.
This brings to mind a story. About fifteen years ago, I killed my first turkey. I wanted to keep the fan tail, but didn't know what to do with it. I called Primos and got Will Primos on the phone. He invited me to come by the office and he would help me. At the time their home office was only a few blocks from my house, so I ran over their. Will helped me clean up the fan and it is still hanging on my wall today. That impressed me that he would take time from his schedule to help out a young hunter.
