Private Land Tags in AZ

hello all,

my buddy just married into a family with a lot of land in AZ. They have never let anybody hunt it before and offered us the opportunity. We are both NM residents and were wondering what the process was in AZ for out of state private land tags. Here in NM, they are purchased either through the land owner or over the counter depending on the species. How does it work in AZ. We are after coues and muleys. Do we need to draw or can this be done through the land owner/over the counter.

No such thing as land owner tags in AZ.
Everything is through the draw process.
Coues tags are fairly easy to draw so you should be ok there.

The only OTC are archery deer tags South of the ditch. No LO tags, sorry.

As mentioned, there are no landowner tags in AZ. You would have to draw a hunt permit during the regular draw, or hunt with an OTC archery permit.
