LAST EDITED ON Jul-12-08 AT 08:48AM (MST)[p]Welp we finally got one yesterday. He ended up hunting by alamogordo and saw on average 10-14 a day. We had a couple shots at a monstrocity but just werent able to connect because the gun had been knocked off while romping back into our spot. But yesterday we got it back sighted in and left Las cruces around noon and had him loaded in the truck at 3:30, It was a perfect 200 yard shot and she double lunged him and clipped the top of the heart. The oryx dropped in his tracks. The horns measured just shy of 30 and 29 with phenomenal bases for such a young oryx. Thanks for yalls advice!!!! It payed off!!

Thanks guys she was really excited. She used a .270 with a muzzlebreak and it did the job no problem. It might have been a little light for a monster bull but it did the job on this one just fine
