BC boy love your photograpfhs....great stuff... I am bronze sculptor I am actually going to work on a really big piece..the arc of a rams life...seven different stages of a rams life....I have a question for you have you ever seen lambs showing "butting" play???

I have indeed seen butting from the lambs as they play. Pretty neat to see.

They got sheep around Birch Island now? LOL. Those Rockies must be the ones from McBride over to Alberta? Banff? Any pics of any big California's from Kamloops Lake?

What does it take for a resident to get a tag for a Rocky or a Stone? Curious why you haven't hunted them yet?

These Rockies are from the Family Day Longweekend and a trip we did to Jasper and Cadomin. As for the Calis in the Loops, this winter the rams have really been missing from their usual hangouts. I hope as the green starts showing up the rams will too.

It doesn't take much other than booking holidays and going. I have buddies that do it every year. I have not hunted sheep yet because I can only handle one addiction at a time. I find it hard to give up trophy muleys to get bit by the sheep bug instead. I do have a trip planned for the Yukon this summer with the family. Maybe that trip will be what it takes to get me addicted to the North and sheep.
