Any reports from the region? I heard they had a big die off, but wanted to see what everyone else was seeing. I am headed to the Black Hills in a couple of days.

By die off you mean EHD and over hunting every year before that yes. Haven't been up there this year. 2 years ago was pretty sad

More deer than the last couple years. And certainly much better hunting conditions. Numbers are still way down from the glory days. We were just starting to see a little rut activity when we left on Sunday.

If you thought it was sad 2 years ago, you’d be really disappointed now. In the area we hunt around Hulett I’d say the deer are down 85-90% over the last 2 years due to massive die offs from EHD.
