Need some help!!
My wife and i always archery deer hunt the Bighorns around burgess Junction. Well, no elk tags this year, put in for leftover Deer and guess what, didn't draw. seems they cut the tags by around 1,000 because od the drought in the plains. I got to checking and there is leftover tags for area J. I was looking at the Medicine Bow Moutains just south of Casper, west of Douglas. Could anybody give me some info on where to camp, start? I hate to ask but the Bighorns is the only place we ever hunted in wyoming and i don't know a thing about this new area. I don't want to know about antbodys honey hole just a place to camp to get started. We usally hunt the first 2 weeks of Sept. so i don't have a lot of time. Thanks for any help.
