...only a few of us guys that hunted local, also hunted outa state for trophy bucks. it was a poor mans game that few of the guys raking in the coin bothered to play...and even if they did, it was how hard and well you hunted not how much you could pay that told the story of the better bucks brought back home.

I remember those days.
