Like to get some input on this rifle? Good long range rifle? What grain bullet for deer etc?

are you handloading or factoryloads? 150 are good so are 165

I have this very gun and love it.
My gun seems to like the 180 gr Accubonds. I shoot these for deer, elk, antelope. I am getting sub MOA groups at 100 yds.

You won't regret getting this gun.

I'd go with either the 165 and 180 gr pills.

Great all around efficient cartridge in a nice rifle.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-14-09 AT 11:58AM (MST)[p] Some guys are loving the 150's out of this caliber but I agree with Sage and I would try the 165's accubonds they should be a good choice with this round. The 180's no slouch either but that 165 should make a nice all around load except for the big stuff. But in some bullets the 180's will fly better in this bore and can find better accuracy. The 165's should work for elk on down in that gun very well. Nice choice of caliber and rifle.
