Remington Stock question

Thanks for all the great reply's on my daughters gun I think she is going with the 270. Next question will a Remington 700 synthetic stock fit a Remington 722 as long as they are both SA. If yes will there need to be some modifications. Thanks Again.

first the magazine box will need to be changed out or the 722 box cut off some as it is too deep
2nd the stock will need to be opened up if the 722 barrel is used with the rear sight boss
3rd the stock will need to be cut or filed down so the 722 safety lever will work,you can replace the 722 trigger with a 700 trigger but the metal on the rear tang will need to be removed so the 700 safety lever will clear
I have done several changes but I usually leave the 722 trigger as they are pretty good triggers
