1st time user of a trailcam here. I put the Moultrie I-40 out on May 11th watching a spot I figured there'd be a moose. I checked it yesterday for the first time. Had images of a cow moose for the first few days according to the date/time stamp. Then one of her right close, nose on camera I suspect. I guess she decided to knock it off the tree. It landed right side up, so I had about 420 images of the top of a small maple that it took on windy days! Guess I'll make up a metal box to strap the camera up with, using the ratcheting strap from the hardware store. The good news is that after 30 days, the batteries were still at 83%. Six Duracell "D" batteries. And in spite of tons of rain, the interior of the camera was dry as a bone.
