There is some as good or better for better pricing is what I would tell you. Prices are down and no reason to pay over 2000 for a greater kudu or nyala.There near kruger not part of it so don't get fooled by the sound of that. No reason to pay over 300 a day for day fees either.
I am sure you will have a great hunt if you pick them but some better deals out there unless there giving you a pretty big discount from there web pricing

55"-59" kudu go for $3500. 60" and above are $8500. kudu under 55" are cheap. nyala buffalo and everything else prices works the same. u get what u pay for so u need to know what u are looking for.
here are ur options in africa
1- meat market operation where u are just business
2- business relation. u shoot in the front and resuplies from the local auction house are dropped in the back for the next hunter
3-cheap large over hunted concession. u shoot for cheap and there are lots of animals but over pressure keeps everything shot out
4- real hunt but pricing is higger
5- real hunt for big animals. awesome time even higher prices
6-luxury hunt all around. awesome camp. awesome food massive animals. cost is the highest posible for a safari
decide what u want and learn how to find out what each outfitter untalk to is. most guys wont know what their outfitter is unless they have hunted africa 20 to 30 times.
i can spot them but ive been a ton.

also u can go to kanan and book that cheap hunt with tim herald but tim blew off stewarts arm and now stewart is permanently disabled. tim goes around living the high life while steward cant even get a job. his medical bills are over $600,000 from all the surgeries and tim just ignores what he did. so if u want to support that then go right ahead. if u wanna book kanana then go through jay leyendecker. hes and honest guy and does the right thing and deserves to make money.

What Tony is referring to is that Tim Herald was involved in an accident three or four years ago in northern Mozambique where he accidentally shot his PH, Stu Taylor, through the left shoulder with his .458. He apparently was falling over backward during a buffalo charge and his gun AD'ed. Stu was lucky to live through the ordeal and had a long convalescence. I've heard he is back to hunting but won't be the same as before and went through quite a lot to get back to the point he is at. My understanding is that Tim did do some things to help him along the way, but didn't cover much of the cost of medical bills and unemployment.
There were no winners in that fiasco.

i spent a few days with mike n stewy at their house in bullawayo. the fundraiser raised $7500 and that was it. its hard to see tim travel all over the world when u actually see stew years later in so much pain just wanting to get back but having so many surgeries left to go. people refused tonhire him as a ph as they didnt feel safe with him.
i just felt horrible for him and wish tim would donthe right thing.
