Russell's Pilot Mountain bull

My son Russell got this bull on Sept. 18th on Pilot Mountain

Congratulations, very nice bull. Did you see a lot of bulls up there? fatrooster.

just a few. But we didn't really hunt alot of the area.
Plus the weather was hot. by 8am everything was treed up and quiet.

Congratulations! I know what you mean by treed up and quiet by 8am, then no talking till dark, hot windy and a growing moon didn't help either!

Have never hunted outside of Utah before... Is Pilot Mountain an LE area that a NR should be putting in for... I will be starting to do so this year in NV and would love to see bulls like this...

no nonresident tags, however it's a joint hunt with utah.
So, if you're a utah resident you can put in for the utah tag
and hunt both the nevada and utah sides of the unit.
it is LE.

If it were me, I'd go the second week.
Try the burns around Bettridge Creek on the Utah side.
South of Patterson Pass on the Nevada side.
