Rye Colorado

Just found out I have to go to a wedding on Sept. 3 near Rye. I'm from out of state and didn't see this coming, the people are on my wife's side.
Does anyone know if I could buy a landowner tag if bow season is going then?
And if so, are there any outfits nearby where I could hunt a couple days?

i know a man with 10000 acre private ranch just east of rye that has a archery elk tag possibly available that was for me but work has me messed up. he's a good guy with some good bulls. if ur interested let me know

If it's by chance the TM Ranch, I'd look elsewhere..

its muddy creek ranch between rye and colorado city. me and my family have killed some big bulls there

If you want to drive two to four hours West of there you can hunt National Forest with OTC tags.
