San Juan Ntl. Forest Turkeys

Anyone hunt the NW section (NW of Dolores) of this forest for merriams? Want to check it out next time I'm down that way. Any info on some spots to check out up there would be great.

I deer and elk hunted there last year the second season, and I saw so many friggin' turkeys, clear up to almost 11,000 ft elevation! I wish I'da had turkey tags instead there were everywhere!
 
In the San Juan check out ares with ponderosa pines.Thats where they roost.
