Looking for info on areas to try crane hunting in southeast New Mexico. We'll be hunting sheep in unit 30 and thought we might come over a few days early and bring our crane decoys. I've seen a lot around Artesia in the past. Any idea how difficult it is getting permission in that area from farmers to hunt their fields? Thanks for any help.
