Just back from a great road trip with good friends. Put over 3500 miles on my buddy's Dodge diesel and had a blast. Truly the highlight was this great buck my buddy Steve took our first day of hunting. No blue tongue problems where we were, but pheasants down 65% from last year.

Wow great buck, Pheasants numbers are down But come tomorrow the Dodge is headed East for some long nature walks with the dogs, and good times with family and friends. If we get lucky will shoot a few birds.

How did you get Steve to shoot on day one? Was there aiming fluid involved? Great buck,I got to put my hands on that fine rack today. Much more impressive in my hands than they are in the photos, but it's always that way.
