Seem's like the Sheddin has been slower than recent years?

Is it:

1-Tight Mouth Bastages not giving out EXACT FAVORITE GPS COORDINATES TO HONEY HOLES?

2-Tight Mouthed Bastages not wanting to Share the Gold?

3-Obama's De-Valued Our Dollar so Bad & High Fuel prices?

4-Numbers of Bucks & Bulls down from recent Years?

5-Illegal Bastards/Wheelers busting in to CLOSED area's like they do here where I try & find Chalk?

6-Weather has played a Big Factor here,maybe other Places too?

7-Shed Heads maybe not getting out as much as in recent years maybe?

I've only had time to go for 1/2 a Day!

Packed some Chalk Out!

Not one Damn Fresh Shed!

For me to find a Shed a few things must happen:

First I gotta find a place where an Elk has dropped a Horn on an Illegal ATV Track where the JOKERS went in 2 months too early!

Then I'll have to Trip & Fall on the Shed Antler!

A Point on the Antler will have to hit me in the Eye as I Fall!

Just seem's Slow Guys,How bout in your Neck of the Woods?

I know a few Guys have done Well so Far,too bad they won't share the GPS COORDINATES!

The Dew I had for Breakfast wasn't Bad so I had one more for Dessert!

Yesterday was the first day of legal horn hunting here..was saddled up and riding at 6:30am started snowing and snowing and snowing 8:00am I was at the horse trailer with 1 4 point chalk and went home... Waiting for the snow to melt this morning before the wife and I go out...

Id say your 3-7 are right on the money. I think there are so many people shed hunting now, everyone is finding less and less every year. Everyone I've talked to about has found less.

I agree with a lot of that! Especially 4, 5, and 6. Although I've had one of my best years so far. For quantity anyways. Haven't found any real big ones yet but I have found quite a few for the area's I hunt. I've posted a few pictures on here. you should go check 'em out..

Weather kinda got us here this year pushing Elk back on to the REZ!
