Shed Hunting Boots

I am looking to purchase a new pair of boots before I start shed hunting. I would like to hear what your favorite pair of shed hunting boots are. I am not looking for a full blown review, I would just like to see what boot manufacturers get mentioned so I can start narrowing my search.

Thanks,

Brookhunter

Merrell makes a few pairs that I have used. The Cameleons are good, but they no longer make a mid-top, all leather. I liked those, but I did blow the sole out of them. They were a bit too light-weight for a 40 lb. haul out. I now have a more rugged pair of Merrell Phaser Peaks. They're a bit heavier than the lightest pairs, but so far they've handled some heavy hauls, including a 100 lb. one-mile deer haul this past fall. They have a vibram sole.
