Sheds and a winterkill buck

Here are a couple pictures from yesterday evening.

A matched set of muley sheds - probably shed last year.

A winterkill buck with a nice tall rack - yes I took the head.

Nice buck in that bottom pic.....kinda curious what do think itll score...how wide and tall was he? NICE PICS..... i would a picked that head up as well..

Outside spread on the buck is just over 20" and about the same on the height. Rough conservative score of about 150. Not a monster, but still a nice find. Doesn't smell too good right now.

But I wonder if the coyotes or a cougar killed it?
Just me thoughts on such a nice racked deer with a mild winter this year and no real heavy storms to be killing may deer. Keep hunt'n and good luck.

i bet that head was stinky. you probably had to get right down next to it to trim the hide and spine, eh? yum yum! it's all worth it to a scavenger like me!
