Anyone out and about looking or found any sheds so far this year.
I found a dead bull while looking for a suspect out here a couple weeks ago. Glassed him up cant believe no one could see him only 300 yards from a road. G&F came out and investigated it said they couldnt tell if it was a natural mortality or a kill so they gave me the rack. Talk about score. Wasnt a monster but he looks cool only about 275.
Anyways I was out glassing the other night and saw seven bulls, 6 had headgear and one was a pretty good bull i would guess around 320 maybe, long ways off, but still packin. Im going in tomorrow and see if I can find something. Anyone else finding anything or looking?

I have been trying to get up to elk country, but have had something every weekend (past two and next two). So save a few for me and my boys (8 & 6).

Yeah he shot himself. HE was the guy who killed the lady in the wal mart pkng lot in Show Low couple weeks ago. I missed him by bout 5 minutes comin towards springerville. NM state ofcr stopped him outside Albuquerque and when the ofcr approached the guy shot himself. Saved us the money.
So finding the rack outside vernon was a bonus. Kinda hard to fit in my Patrol vehicle but I squeezed it in. LOL

I forgot, I went out today where I saw those bulls, got my truck stuck, called my wife and rasied holy hello telling her i knew I shouldve bought the winch when I bought the truck. I was not happy needless to say I spent most of my time digging out of the snow and mud. LOL Barely made it to work on time. Gonna have to saddle up ol roany and do it the old fashioned way, dont get stuck on horseback. lol
