Took the family up to Jasper this weekend. Saw these sheep up on a hillside outside of town and figured we'd do a little hike and see what kind of pics we could get. I think they turned out not to bad. Even though they are Park sheep at least they weren't on the side of the highway. 
Kids thought it was pretty cool to get so close. The sheep came within 10 yards of us. There were 3 young banana rams in the band of ewes and lambs. Would have loved to have some more time to find some of those monster 200 inch rams that live in the Park but it was only a weekend trip.

Thanks for the great photos. After seeing these I got a shock yesterday. I was attending a conference in the mountains above Colorado Springs and two mid-sized rams came down to graze on the lawn of the grounds yesterday. It was great! Especially with them feeding right along with all the wild turkeys.
