Shooting a wolf?

So has anyone talked to a game warden to see what the actual rule would be if you shot a wolf in Nevada?

well there protected by the feds so if they found out you would be in some deep crap. But theres no wolfs in NV . Right?

NDOW did say that there are wolves in NV. So you can't use the story i thought it was a coyote. They are protected by fedral laws so you would be in big trouble.

Spoke with NDOW today. They said wolves are considered a big game animal that doesnt have a season. Also if you kill one knowing its a wolf it would be a felony.

I wouldn't shoot a poor little wolf but if a big coyote got out in front of me I'd shoot it! fatrooster.
