Bambistew Very Active Member Messages 1,959 Apr 9, 2009 #4 cup and core bullets perform very well below 2800fps impact velocity. Above that they tend to come appart. I've killed a bunch of elk with GKs and had many pass throughs, but only at longer ranges.
