Skeeter repellant?

I just spent a weekend in Colorado. Nearly got carried away by skeeter.
I drew an archery elk tag- limited- and can only hunt 1st 10 days. Think the bugs will still be bad in early September at 8500-10,000 feet??
Or- anyone have suggestions for odorless skeeter spray???

Pray for a good hard freeze in late aug, but I would bet they will still be bad in sept. Maybe at 10 or higher not as much, but they skeeters are thick this year

I haven’t witnessed mosquitos in all my years(14) hunting CO in September, but this year we have been getting a good amount of moisture up here at 7500ft in Unit 20. If there are mosquitoes during archery, then will be the year.
Right now they will carry you off the mountain if you don’t run a thermacell
I use the Sawyer Picaridin Spray. It has very little scent. I also use their Permethrin Fabric Sray- spray it on cloths and let sit for an hour and it will last for a month or a few washes. Also has little to no scent. Used in the Bahamas on the flats and Turkey hunts in the south& west. It keeps ticks off extremely well too.
