Snow Storm

This storm that is hitting Southern NM should make for a fun cow hunt next weekend. They are calling for 8-16" above 7500'. Will the elk move down to the low(er) lands or will they stick it out?

Just really depends on the amount of snow and what is available to eat. If it got a lot of snow, they will move to the feed. Find the feed, and you'll find the elk.

just talked to family and friends in 34 and 36 and heard that they received anywhere from 24-32 inches of snow. Looks like the elk will be in the low country for the weekends hunt. good luck to those headed out for the cow hunt this weekend.
