Sonora Mexico - Archery Coues Deer

I have two archery COUES deer tags available for December 29, 2023 through January 5, 2024.

The ranch is located about an hour south of Hermosillo and the hunt will be semi guided. We reserve this portion of our ranches as archery only and it is approximately 30 square miles. These two tags will be the only two hunters on this ranch this season. This is a desert ranch and by far the best method of hunting with a bow will be sitting in a ground blind over water. Most of our big bucks are killed in the middle of the day between 9am and 2pm. This is an excellent opportunity to kill 90 inch plus deer with your bow but there are much higher caliber deer if you choose to hold out. We will be running numerous trail cameras prior to the season to determine where the best bucks are located, and we will gladly provide you with the pics and locations to assist you.

The tag includes meeting in Nogales and crossing the border together where you will follow us to the ranch in your own vehicle. The ranch house is a three-bedroom two-bathroom house with hot showers and multiple beds. Also included in the price is a local Mexican cook to prepare our meals, although I recommend bringing your own snacks and drinks.

On the first day we will drive with you and show you the ranch and different places to hunt but ultimately you will be on your own to hunt as you please. We will be happy to help out but will not be "guiding" you. We will actually be hunting for ourselves on the ranches next door with rifles.

We will also provide all necessary paperwork and assist with completing it to get horns, hides and meat across the border.

I have personally been hunting this group of ranches for 10 years with family and friends and we have killed dozens of big deer here. I have thousands of trail camera pictures going back each year to 2012. Price is $3.900 and includes everything I've mentioned above.

Two archery tags still available...

Just got back from setting trail cameras and scouting the ranch over the weekend. It's hot and dry and the deer are hitting the water hard! Many of the dirt tanks are drying up which means that the deer will be concentrated on the trough type drinkers.

We checked a few of the cameras after only being set for a couple days and are already getting some pics of decent bucks. As you can see they're just coming out of velvet and movement will only get better as they progress towards the rut in January.

This will be a fantastic year to take a nice coues buck with bow and arrow over water in Mexico!!!
