son's encore antelope

I posted this on the antelope forum as well. Not his first antelope but it's his first muzzleloader kill. Matt (11 year-old) made a nice clean 90 yard shot. With 100 grains 777 (2 pellets) and a 250 grain barnes expander he had been shooting 1 inch groups at 100 yards. I initially thought he missed as I saw dirt fly in front of the buck. As the antelope ran off' like any "good" father' I started lecturing the kid about squeezing the trigger, picking a spot etc. In the middle of my diatribe my son says "Daddy look" and the buck falls aver dead 70 yards away. Perfect double lung shot. Antelope tag...$38.00, having to ask forgiveness from your 11 year-old.....priceless.
