Sourdough Starters

Does anyone have any proven, old, and or unique sourdough starter that they wouldn't mind sharing? I am interested in trying different kinds. I've grown my own but haven't been able to establish one that was very hardy.

Thanks,

Mark

I live in Hillsboro, Oregon. Have you ever dried your starter on waxpaper and then mailed the "flakes?" I guess the only trick to it is to use starter that has been fed and is producing bubbles. But, I don't see how it could make a big difference. If you feel like mailing some off I would love to give it a try.
