I was downloading some pics from my cellphone today and came across a few pics from my 17 year old son's late season muzzle loader deer hunt here in South Dakota. His hunt was the month of December and we had a great time together on his last season before heading off to college this upcoming fall. Although he just barely missed a nice 185" muley buck at 165 yards (open sights) on the second to the last day on a buck we had been after for several days, we still had a great time. On one of the days we came across a band of sheep and got within 30 yards of them. I was able to take a few pics with my cell phone and just thought I would share them.
This particular herd moves in and out of the Badlands National Park and they don't get hunted so they aren't too spooky.
