Here is some muley country most people on here havent seen. I was in the SE part of the state visiting family. I had a couple of free early morning hours to get my first muley fix for the year, and headed for the Missouri river breaks . I ended up spotting about 20 muleys on public land in a couple hours that morning with my binos and spotter with very little effort. 8 were bucks, but nothing of any consequence. Mostly forkies, and a few little 3-4 points. I have seen some dandies in the past near here, on private land though. Bucks from this area generally arent ever going to reach B&C proportions, but some decent ones do come out of this area.
A slice of the area where I spotted all the deer.
Another equally good, different muley area, but this was taken on more of a family afternoon trip. I've spent a lot of time on the river (Lake Francis Case) in the background ever since I was a kid. Near a very good private deer ranch your friends at RT have hunted in the past. Psst, this general area is a great whitetail area as well...
