Spotting scope help

I have the chance to pick up a used Swarovski STS (non hd) 20-60x65 for about $1000 it’s a 2007 model. I could also go with a leupold Santiam sx-5 in 27-55x80 for about the same price. Does anybody have experience with either of these scopes, if so I’d love your thoughts.

I would go with the Swarovski. I have the newer HD version and love it. Swarovski quality is great and I’m sure the older model is way better than the Santium.

IMO which means nothing.... I would go with the Swaro all day. The older glass is still good!
