spotting scope question, wierd

I bought a spotting scope recently. My dominant eye is my left eye but I have better vision in my right eye, so I was alternating eyes looking through the scope.

I did not need to refocus the scope when I switched eyes. I did notice however that the shades of color were different for each eye. A lot like the "hue" on a color tv. Using my left eye everything had a greener hue than my right eye.

Is this normal?

It's possible, I do see color out of both eyes. Right now closing one eye at a time I cannot notice the difference. It's only looking through the spotter that the tint is different for each eye.

My wife sees blue differently between eyes. The eye doctor isn't concerned. Just says it is "one of those things".
