Looking for a place for my wife and I (retired) to hunt some turkeys next spring in western Texas, looking for suggestions and options. We don’t need a guide or house to stay in, we just sleep in our truck. Thank you for your ideas.

Very little public land. Nearly all of that requires a draw tag to hunt. Google up turkey hints in the area of Texas you want to hunt. Lots of outfitted and lease opportunities if ya want to pay that much for a bird.

I allready have a Rio from Woodward Ok. and my Grand slam, but going toFlorida to get royal Slam hunting Georgia and hunt here in Arizona ,thought I would get my Grand Slam in one year. Been 13 years since I hunted OK. and ex Buddy had the info their. THanks if anyone can fix me up ....................BULL

We went there together .I just didn't pay attention. I turned Him on to Turkey hunting and He has killed in several of My honey holes and taken Family members too . I am not the bad guy. Geez!..........................BULL!
