Hey guys. I will be going with my cousin this weekend and he wants to camp I was just wanting to know if you can camp outside the gate and any recommendations you guys might have. Thanks

There is some BLM land on the North end you can camp at or there is a decent campground with water & power in San Antonio called the Bird Watchers RV park.

you can camp almost by the gate on the right side and hunt the east side by the mountains there is a road that takes you next to the base always seen them there and where i got mine
