The news coverage looked like it was a standing and sitting room only turnout last night... Seemed like there were plenty of people opposed to it there voicing their opinion. It also seemed as thought he developer may have recognized the development was unwanted..??

I personally hope it is a "no" from the council. For preservation sake. Otherwise we will see yet another developer rake in a huge payday for doing very little work, all while we lose access to what is now public ground.
