I just got back from the 13A hunt with A3, and it was awesome. I passed up a 190-195" buck the first hour of the season, and another that was pushing 190" later that day. We ended up hunting a buck we thought would gross around 200-205" that we found a couple days before the season, but due to where he was living, were never able to close the deal. In the end, I decided to shoot an old cull buck the last afternoon I was there. He's an old buck with poor genes, so he was good to remove from the breeding pool. All in all, it was an incredible deer hunt and I'm so impressed with A3 Trophy Hunts. They work their butts off to get good bucks for everyone.
For the 13B hunt, A3 had 11 tag holders and got 10 bucks, 9 of which grossed over 200. On the 13A hunt, they went 6 for 6 with 2 of the bucks going over 200", highlighted by a 36" wide, 212" buck. I've got some pictures of that buck and will see if it is OK to post it. On the 13B hunt, they took several bucks that grossed from 235-247" but the most impressive buck of all was probably a clean 4x4 typical that grossed about 224". While it probably won't be officially scored high enough to surpass the Burris Buck as the #1 B&C world record, it'll probably come in as the new #2 buck of all time. It's a gigantic typical!
A3 was awesome, and a good choice since a non-resident only gets a single chance to hunt the strip in his lifetime. I may go back next year, just to help out with the hunts, I loved the strip that much.
