SW Colorado Units

Hello,

I'm interested in hunting southwestern CO for deer with good draw odds & a decent amount of public land available. Can somebody steer my in the right direction? I like the area around Cortez but I believe the draw odds are pretty tough aren't they? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Cortez and we draw tags here every year with "0" points for both deer & elk. I think non-residents can draw with only "1" or "2" points.
